Sales Tax Exemption Status
Create a AR Sales tax exemption status report to view if tax exemption certificates are up to date on customer accounts.
Access |
Grant permission to User Profiles in Access User Profiles > select a User Profile > Menu Security > Reports > Main Menu > Accounting. |

Create Your Report
Select a Sales Tax Status from the drop down list
- Taxable
- Farmer
- Federal Government
- State & Local Government
- Nonprofits, other than churches
- Churches
- Direct Pay Permits
- Residential Heating Fuels
- Logger
- IntraCompany
Indicate if the Exemption Field is
- Valid
- Invalid
In Responsible Location enter a Site ID or use F12 to search if using Responsible Location.
Choose a sort order for the report in the Order By field.

For State, select All, one or multiple States for the report.
Select Preview to view the report onscreen.
Select Print to send the report directly to the default printer.

Understanding Your Report
The report title includes the Sales Tax Exemption selected for the report.
Customer ID and Customer Name are listed.
State indicates the State the Customer has an Exemption certificate.
The Exemption Number for the Customer and State.
Expiration Date provides the date the Exemption expires.
